ABOUT ME

I have always had a passion for animals and their welfare, and as a child I always dreamed of working with them. My dream came true in 2013 when I started as a dog trainer.  I assisted at Happy Dog in Clapham for 2 years, and with The Barkley in Arlesey for 1 year, whilst taking online courses and attending seminars and workshops.

Since 2016 I have been working with a not for profit organisation called Canine Generated Independence helping disabled people train their own assistance dogs. I am an assessor, assessing dogs for general obedience and for the intensive public access test. I do 1:1 training sessions, as well as running group workshops for CGI. (www.cgidogs.co.uk)

In 2017 I qualified both as a Full Member with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), a SuperDog Trainer. I also became a member of The Pet Professional Guild (PPG).

In 2018 I qualified as a Pro Dog Trainer, and became a member of the Guild of Dog Trainers (GoDT). In addition to this, I also became an associate member of International Companion Animal Network (ICAN).

I continue my Professional Development by attending various workshops and seminars along with doing an Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour with the International School for Canine Psychology & Behaviour.
